Magnitude Lighting E-Series 40W LED Driver — 12V DC

Magnitude Lighting E-Series LED Driver E40L12DC delivers 40W of Constant Voltage power with a regulated 12V DC output from a 120VAC input. It is forward-phase (TRIAC) dimmable down to 1% and is UL8750 Class 2 for compatible low-voltage LED loads. The compact aluminum housing includes an Integrated Junction Box with knockouts for clean, code-friendly wiring transitions.

Physical Design & Installation

Compact aluminum case with powder coat finish and an integrated wiring compartment for line-voltage and low-voltage terminations. Includes two 1/4 in. trade size (3/8 in.) knockouts and flange/key-hole mounting features to support secure installation.

Dimming & Controls

Designed for forward-phase (TRIAC) dimming and can dim down to 1% when paired with compatible TRIAC dimmers. For stable dimming performance, maintain an 8W minimum connected LED load. Input is 120VAC (50/60Hz) and output is constant voltage 12VDC for 12V LED systems.

Performance & Build

High-efficiency design (>90% efficiency at 12VDC) supports lower operating temperature. Protection includes short circuit and over-voltage auto-reset. UL8750 Class 2 construction and NEMA 3R enclosure support demanding installations where a wiring compartment and weather-resistant housing are required.
